About Corbins Delicatessen

Adrian and Cathie Corbin first opened the doors to their delicatessen in October 1993 and over the course of 14 years developed a thriving business as a celebrated cheesemonger and fine food deli which passed into the ownership of Mark Allen during 2007.

As a specialist cheesemonger, there are over a hundred farmhouse cheeses from the British Isles, France, Spain, Switzerland, Scandinavia and Italy in the counter at any one time. In addition, we stock ranges of salamis and cooked meats, pies and pâtés, olives and marinated goods, homemade salads and cakes, as well as a range of dried, packaged goods and locally-made chocolates. Corbins Delicatessen has an enviable reputation for its freshly made sandwiches using ingredients direct from the deli counter.

As consumers have become increasingly demanding about the quality and origins of the food that they eat we have increased our ranges of locally produced and organic products. So that today, wherever possible, we source our products from local producers based in the Wealden area and are able to offer organic options in a wide range of foodstuffs from wine, cheese and chutneys through to tea, cookies and chocolate.

We provide picnic hampers for Glyndebourne and other events and are caterers for business lunches, private parties and functions.

We produce a special brochure featuring our extremely popular Christmas hampers and goods, but demand for these high quality gifts is no longer confined to the Christmas period as we provide many custom prepared gifts throughout the year.
